He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce R. Peoples; daughter, Lisa Peoples Hare (Mike); sons, Kenneth O. Peoples (Dana), Donny Peoples, and Danny Peoples; grandchildren, Keri Hare (Joey), Joshua Hare, Christopher Peoples (Amber), Charlene Harlow (Michael), Rebecca Peoples (Tim), and Dylan Peoples (Liz);13 great-grandchildren; sister, Wendy Schriever (Ray); and brothers, Barny Clark (Susan), Roger Clark, and Curtis Clark.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henery O. Peoples and Geralden P. Clark; stepfather, George Clark; and daughter, Wanda Lee Peoples.
A visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home (Pell City) on Thursday, May 29, beginning at 1:00pm with a service to follow in the chapel at 2:00pm. William will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
