Betty J. Cougevan

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Betty on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00am at Branchport United Methodist Church. Memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456 or Keuka Comfort Care Home, PO Box 107, Penn Yan, NY 14527.

Betty was born in Penn Yan, NY on September 14, 1937. She loved the warm weather, to vacation and bake cookies for friends and family. She was a server for many of the local restaurants: The Wagner, Red Rooster and Sarrasin’s.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Brian; sons, Stephen Bolger, James (Matina) Bolger, Patrick (Jackie) Cougevan; grandchildren, Brendan Bolger, Andrew and Stephen Bolger, Patrick, Molly and Daniel Cougevan; mother, Evelyn Thomas Lamphier; sister, Joyce Rector; dear friend, Julie Marble. Betty was predeceased by her brothers James, Robert, and Gerald Lamphier.
