If Only...

If only I'd stopped and knocked on your door; If only I'd known you couldn't take any more; If only I'd been there, if only I'd called; If I'd not been so busy - and once again stalled.

Why didn't I see then, the pain in your eyes and know that you felt so alone and despised. Why didn't I hear the hurt in your voice, and know you were about to make your last choice!

Maybe if I had been home on that day, I'd have changed things for you in some little way Maybe if I'd chosen my words with more care, I could have seen more and been more aware.

I feel so bewildered and torn from inside, The truth of it all gives me nowhere to hide. Each time the phone rings, though I know it's not you, I'm still trying to see things from your point of view.

God, help me find some true peace of mind, without leaving the memories of this friendship behind. Grant me the courage to start once again, To trust in the love and the life of a friend.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Perry family. This is not an easy thing to get through.
May Colleen find peace in death. She certainly hasn’t had an easy life starting with the car accident and back surgery at such a young age. RIP Colleen💕💕

Colleen always had such a beautiful smile on her face whenever I saw her, so bright it could light up a room! May she find peace now that she has gained her wings and is watching over her family and friends with her dad♥️
Bonnie and family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you all! Please be sure to take care of yourselves and each other; call each other and seek help or an ear to listen if you need! Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to! May God watch over you all and guide you through this difficult time in your life!

Bonnie and family. My deepest and sincerest condolences on your loss. My heart hurts for you all. Please know your are in my thoughts and prayers.
I remember Colleen as a toddler when I babysat for them. Although I haven't connected or stayed in touch with the family, I will occasionally see how everyone is doing on a Facebook post.

I'm so truly sorry for your loss! I had the pleasure of meeting this Beautiful Angel in 2001/2002 during the busy season of working together at the country club. Colleen and I had bonded despite the age difference. She had so much spirit despite life's challenges! I truly loved and admired her and never knew what happened to her til years later after reconnecting on Facebook. We hadn't mingled much thereafter though, I still always hoped the best for her! I will always treasure the conversations we had shared and will always remember her at her well high spirited best! Prayers and hugs to all those who are suffering with this loss! Heaven has gained a Special Angel!
Will be missing your smile Colleen!
