David Delano Corcoran

Family and friends may call at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 4:00-7:00pm. David’s funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Shuman Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.

David was born on November 3, 1936 in Geneva, NY to the late David & Jeanne (Canning) Corcoran. He served in the US Army and was a hard working farmer his entire life. David enjoyed all kinds of birds and loved his old car collection.

He was predeceased by his brother William and his wife Erma. David is survived by a special friend, Ann Gee; brother, Patrick (Chee) Corcoran; sister, Betty Arcangeli; children, David L. (Sherry), Jeanne (Craig), Patricia (Darren) Fox, William (Billie jo), Brian (Kellie); 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
