

Jack was born on June 25, 1922 to Roy and Ella B. Naylor Ewing in Lambertville, NJ. He served in the US Navy from 1942-1946. Jack was a well-known self-employed electrician in Lambertville, where he also worked at the Post Office as a rural mail carrier. He served as an Elder in the Lambertville First Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Lambertville Rescue Squad and a member of Amwell 12 Masonic Lodge since 1967 where he served as Master in 1974. Jack enjoyed spending his time on Seneca Lake and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; stepchildren, Carol (Paul) Sigafoos, Alan (Pat) Durborow, Tom (Janet) Durborow; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Roy Ewing; several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents, sisters Bertha Lewis and May Caulton and brother Leon.
A memorial service for Jack will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville, 35 N. Union Street, Lambertville, N.J.on July 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made in Jack’s name to the Lambertville/New Hope Rescue Squad, 70 Alexander Avenue, Lambertville, NJ 08530 or to a charity of your choice.
