Deep peace to Joyce and the family. Gayla already mentioned how Joyce and Uncle Benny would put up with a point! I am glad I got to share some of our conversations over the last few weeks and learn what a fiesty person she could be. Love to all.

Joyce and her husband were my family's next door neighbors for many years and were there for my family many times over the years. But possibly my fondness memory was when both of them attended the calling hours for my grandmother when my grandmother died in the early 90s which meant a lot to my whole family.

Joyce and Uncle Benny were such great hosts and sports in putting up with us during pajama parties at their home. Sending love to the family.

Joyce was a lovely, classy lady. I was so excited when she made one of her beautiful doilies for my wedding. I remember growing up in the Methodist Church and always looking forward to jokes and laughter from “Benny”, and Joyce was always there to smile and just shake her head! Lovely, lovely people. Her always ready smile will be missed.

My best memory of Aunt Joyce is from the spring of 1969. Tragically, my mom Karen had been in an automobile accident and sustained serious injuries. My youngest sister, Carol, was with my mom and tragically she perished in the accident. Aunt Joyce helped take care of my two sisters, Susan and Marilyn, and me. I can remember her coming to our house to help us get ready for school and just being there for us during such a painful time for our family. Thank you, Aunt Joyce. ❤️
