

Phillip was born in Corning, NY on June 6th, 1930, the son of the late Harold and Mildred (Scott) Kellogg. He was a graduate of Savona High School and earned his Associates Degree in Electrical Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Phillip served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1955. He retired as a computer analyst from Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY. He enjoyed spending his time on Keuka Lake and was a proud and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Penn Yan.
Phillip is survived by children and their families, Robert Charles, Ivon, and Robby Kellogg of Manhattan Beach, CA; Kathy Ann, Chris, Sarah, Claire, and Emily Howes of Houston, TX; and Carol Lee, Anthony, Brent, Stephanie, and Mary Beth Olson currently residing in Cusco, Peru; as well as his sister, Patricia Crane; and brother, Martin Kellogg. In addition to his parents, Phillip was predeceased by his wife, Linda Lee (Beam) Kellogg in 1992.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
A graveside service and interment with Military Honors will be held on July 31st at 2pm at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport, NY. An informal reception will follow at Phil’s home on East Lake Road.
