Shirley H. Osborne

Friends and family may call at St. Michael’s Church in Penn Yan, NY on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 12:00-2:00pm. Shirley’s Mass of Christian Burial to be held immediately following visitation. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s name to The Homestead, 418 N. Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527 or Ontario –Yates Hospice, 756 Pre Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.

Shirley was born on May 6, 1933 to the late William & Florence (Maynard) Smith. She worked for Michael Stern’s, drove school bus for Penn Yan and was an active member of the Moose Club. Shirley enjoyed camping, her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Squire (Lisa) Osborne, Jr., Robert (Maureen) Osborne; daughter, Donna Osborne; grandchildren, Ian Osborne, Patrick Willson, Robbie Osborne, Chelsea Osborne; great grandchildren, Ava Willson, Michael Patrick Willson; sisters, Dorothy Cron, Carla Rider; brothers Rick Kennerson, Ed Kennerson; several nieces & nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Squire F. Osborne on September 13, 1995 and son, Michael R. Osborne on February 8, 2007; brothers, Ronald Smith, William Smith; sisters, Mary Lou Wiser, Beverly Hawley, Delores Smith.
