I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a good friend of my family and was always thinking of others and ways to help them in time of need. I remember being home on leave from the military and I lost my wallet. I did not have enough money for gas to get back to my base. Without hesitation Shirley gave me some money so I could get back. It was always small things she did like this that I hope everyone remembers her for.

I am so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. Shirley was one of my high school friends who had great relationships with my siblings for many years, as they stayed mostly in the Penny Yan area. Shirley could make you smile with her sense of humor or sarcastic comments about a situation! Some of my favorite memories of Shirley are when her children were young and one could feel how much she treasured her children. May you rest in Paradise, Shirley. Hug Bridget for us and we will see you again when God calls us home. Much love and may peace surround your family during this difficult time🙏🦋💜

I was so sorry to hear the news. Shirley and I were childhood friends and grew up together. This summer we had had a chance to reconnect. I knew of her illness but was hopeful that her health would return. My prayers for her family. She was a special person who always knew how to make me laugh. She will be sorely missed.
