Terry was born on November 25th, 1944 in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Verna (Fish) Mahaney and William Lawrence. He was raised and spent most his life in Hilton, NY. He served in the US Air Force and retired from Kodak as an Engineer. Terry was loved and respected by his family and all that knew him.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Lynne (Dumas) Lawrence; daughter Nicole ‘Niki’ (Mark) Ellsworth; Step-daughter, Heather (Chris) Benoit; step-son, Adam Govero; grandchildren, Miranda, Quinn, Alex, Diedra and Alex; great granddaughter, Nayliani; brothers, Larry (Susan) and Bill Lawrence; as well as, several nieces, nephews, and close cousins. In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by his brother, Rick Lawrence.
A gathering celebrating his life will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Terry’s memory to the ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
