1929-2018
Adam Dymecki, born March 30, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to Adam Sr. and Jennie Dymecki. Adam was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia and excelled at track, winning numerous awards and setting a national record.
As a veteran having served honorably for 22 years in the United States Army, Adam served in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. Adam and his family moved to many different duty stations (living six years in Germany and three years in Okinawa) and took advantage of many travel opportunities while there and in many locations within the U.S. Upon retirement from the United States Army, he moved his family to Pensacola and called it home. While in Pensacola, he worked at NAS Pensacola. He was a long-time member (40 years) of Gonzalez United Methodist Church.
He was married 59 years and is survived by his loving wife, Ruth. He is also survived by his children: Linda (Greg) English of Pensacola, Florida; Donna (Steve) Mahan of Prattville, Alabama; and Adam Joseph (Pam) Dymecki of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Thomas English, Ryan (Taylor) English, David English, Sarah (Brent) Taylor, Wade Mahan, John Mahan, Lauren (Evan) Chickvara, Rachel Dymecki and his great granddaughter, Norah Jane English. He was a loving husband and amazing dad, grandpop and great grandpop who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
The family of Adam and Ruth Dymecki would like for all to know that their marriage is a love story for all time.

Friends are cordially invited to join the family for a visitation on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service.
