Alex P. Duplantis (Pop) of Pensacola, FL passed away while resting peacefully on Friday February 5th 2022 at 10pm. Alex was born in Houma Louisiana on February 25th 1921. On September 5th, 1942, he married Susie M. Bell, the love of his life for 67 years. He served in the US Army for 32 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Office 4. He fought for his country in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star accommodation among others. He was a loving, caring and generous Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was passionate about fly fishing and enjoyed the game of golf immensely. He is survived by his children, Sharon(Ludy), Michael (Gtetchen), Patrick (Sharon), and Kathy, his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. A private service will be held for his immediate family at Bayview Memorial Park where he will be laid to rest next to Susie.
