Alma Louise Daniels, 89, spent most of her life in Gulf Shores, AL. She passed away on July 14, 2026, in the care of her loving family. Born September 1, 1936, Louise grew in Rolling Fork, Mississippi alongside her three siblings, carrying forward the steady values of home and family that would remain central throughout her life.
For many years, Louise built a successful career as a real estate broker, earning the regard of others through her professionalism. Her faith was a constant. Louise was very faithful and a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, and she found comfort and meaning in nightly readings of her Bible. This was a tradition she shared with her husband, Ken, before his passing.
Louise brought grace to everyday life. Elegant and very classy, she continued in her recent years to insist on being dressed and “made-up” for the day ahead. She was also an avid shopper, delighting in the simple pleasures that made life feel bright and well-lived.
At home, Louise expressed love through service and generosity—especially in the kitchen. She loved to cook for her family and to take care of her husband, Ken. Among her most remembered offerings was her staple recipe, Cheesy Apples, which she passed down to many family members.
Louise was a beloved presence to those who knew her and is survived by her sister Iris Irwin, daughter, Debbie Snyder; daughter-in-law, Donna Daniels; her grandchildren, Chelsey Snyder, Heather Daniels, Zachary Daniels, Lauren Kelly and Joshua Gilder and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 67 years, Kenneth "Ken" Daniels, Sr.; son, Kenneth Daniels, Jr.; daughter, Susan Kelly; parents, Regginald and Annie Tisdell; and siblings Emogene Thornhill and Lamar Tisdell.
