Alma Joan George

Alma Joan George died November 4, 2013 in her Pensacola home. She was born in Greenecounty, Mississippi. She moved to Pensacola from the Phillipines in 1983. Alma had a strong faith and was a member of Pentacostal Faith Church. She loved ministering to the homeless. She also loved to sew, cook and quilt.

She was proceded in death by her father Roy W. Holloman, her mother Martha E. McLeod, brothers Roy Mack Holloman and Willie C. Holloman, her sister Audia Amelia Hillman, infant brother Robert Wayne Holloman and her grandson Micheal Mason.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harry George, her son Randy (Dana) Mason of Gulf Breeze, FL, son-in-law Alex Stephen of Pensacola, FL, her daughter Jan R. Stephen from Pensacola, FL, her sister Mary E. McLeod, her brother James (Hilda) Holloman of Kaufman, TX, 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Joey, Angelina, Alexander, Andrew, Amanda, and Kennan, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 pm with an event to follow. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10:35 am.
