Angela was born to Ed J. Tomlin, MSGT, Ret. (deceased) and Mary French Tomlin on April 28, 1954, at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Angela resided in Pensacola, FL for approximately 53 years. She is the mother of Cordelia Harrell, Grandmother to Spenzer and Penelope Washam, all of Pensacola, FL. She was the sister to Patricia Francis of Nevada, Richard Tomlin of Pensacola, FL, and Frances Tomlin (deceased). She was an aunt to 4 nephews and Great Aunt to 8 nephews and 4 nieces. She is also survived by Brother-in-law Dana Francis of Nevada and Sister-in- law Brenda Tomlin of Pensacola, FL.
Angela was known for her love of God, her Savior Jesus Christ and her family and friends. Her daughter and grandchildren were the love of her life. She was totally devoted to them. She was best friends with her mother, calling her every morning and every evening before she retired for the night. Angela had such a tender heart and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.
While young, Angela worked at Pantry Pride, followed by a tenure at Community Action Program, et. al. She then worked at Azalea Trace for many years, providing loving care for elderly clients, many who became friends.
Angela had a love for Christian music and would attend concerts whenever she could. Her favorite color was purple, and she loved taking pictures of beautiful and interesting things. She loved living in Pensacola as her hobby was collecting seashells.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lighthouse Church of Pensacola, 3590 Barrancas Avenue, 32507 at 2:00 P.M. on January 20, 2024. A table is provided for vases of flowers, mementos, and pictures of Angela. A Fellowship dinner follows the service.
