      I am a little late.. I just found out about Anita having passed.. I am so sorry I haven't kept up with her.. The last time I spoke with Anita was a bit before Bob died.. So long ago. Too long ago. 
... I am so sorry to find out about her passing.. She and Bob were always so kind to me when I was in high school.. I hope she and Bob are truely together forever.. They were a perfect couple. 

There isn't a day that passes without a thought of Anita and Bob. I was lucky to meet them through a dear friend who had known them his whole life, and who held them as his adoptive parents. They became my spiritual ones. The world is indeed a better place for them having been in it. Goodbye dear Anita. Thank you for the loving and caring and guiding you have always given us.

Anita, you were a friend for many years and I appreciate you and Bob being apart of my life and being he very first couple to keep Kamy. She has been such a blessing..

 Anita and Bob saved my life and changed my world.  The lessons they taught me could not be captured in a few words.  They opened worlds of knowledge and kindness. This was written by a dear friend and my practice husband David Swatland reacting to Momma Green's death.   He caught  memories so well: " Hey Kim, so sorry to hear about Mrs. Green.  Both she and Bob were amazing people in so many ways, and the world is a better place for them having been in it.  I always loved going to visit them... the big house in the big yard with the big oak trees and the tree house.  Mr. Green in the workshop, Mrs. Green puttering in the yard.  The house was always cool inside and we would sit at the kitchen table and eat popcorn out of the paper bag that was kept in the oven and drink iced tea.  They would tell stories, Bob with his deep voice, suspenders and big beard, Anita with that amazing swirl of silver hair up in a bun and that awesome laugh.  Their company and the house and the yard, it was like a sanctuary, a place where I always felt unstressed and positive.   Those two have always been examples to me of how family is not limited by bloodline, of how to live a relatively simple but creative, art-filled, and happy life, and of how to exist together in a loving relationship for a really long time.  I'm glad Bob and Anita are together again, may they laugh and love together forever."  
Momma Green, rest in peace- though we know you won't! you will be tending gardens, and nurturing hearts and souls and laughing out loud.

She will be remembered as a truly gentle woman who gave of herself to ease the burden of others, always a presence of light to guide where such assistance was needed and, above all, a Friend!
