Anne Marie Deaver, 90, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on December 28, 2019. Anne was born on September 20, 1929, in Rockaway Beach, NY, to the late George and Frances Gregory. Anne Marie (Gregory) is an alumni of Gesu Catholic School (1947) in Miami, FL, and Florida State University (1951).
Shortly after graduation from FSU, she married the late Carl J. Kish, and they were married for 20 years before he passed away. Anne later met and married the late James (Jim) K. Deaver while working as an insurance adjuster with Allstate in Miami, FL. Anne and Jim were married for 31 years before he passed away in 2004.
Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husbands; parents; sister Joan Frances Logan; daughter Kathleen Kish Kaufman; son Brian Kish; and her granddaughter Sarah Rachel Kaufman. Anne is survived by her children Charles Kish, Michael Kish and wife Latisa, Maureen (Kish) Mogus and husband Michael, and Brigid Kish. Anne was surrounded by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will long be remembered for the many hours of volunteering at the Mother Theresa Mission Thrift Shop and as a congregation member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2019, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm, Wednesday, January 8, 2019, at Little Flower Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Eugene Casserly officiating.
