

Born and raised in Agana Heights, Guam, Tony was a proud Guam War Survivor whose life reflected courage, resilience,
and devotion to family and country. He later became a longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida, where he built a life
marked by honor and service and was a devout Catholic at Little Flower Catholic Church.
Tony served his nation with distinction as a veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was a proud
recipient of the Purple Heart. His bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
He also dedicated many years of service as a United States Postal Worker and Supervisor at Pensacola Navy Gateway Inn
and Suites.
In his new life, he is greeted by his beloved wife, †Kathy Sampson Salas; his parents, †Maria Hara Salas and †Jesus
Indalecio Salas; his grandparents, †Tan Romana Cruz Hara and †Jose Ikizu Hara; and his sister-in-law, †Evelyn S. Alvarez.

Tony’s life was one of strength, sacrifice, and enduring love. From surviving the hardships of war in Guam to serving his
country abroad, he embodied perseverance and honor. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted husband,
brother, uncle, and family patriarch whose legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
Last respects will be held on May 12, 2026 at Little Flower Catholic Church 6495 Lillian Highway, Pensacola, Florida 32506 at 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Little Flower Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
His final resting place will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
May he rest in eternal peace.
