Ashley & Alicia, you were blessed with the best mom and friend and daughter can have. I can remember nights when all we did was laugh and laugh.....gosh I miss those times. I was fortunate enough to meet boh of you, unfortunately Barbara did not have the opportunity to meet my two, but rest assured, her personality definitely resides in them. Love you ~Jackie Labat Goff

I am sorry for your loss. Barbara and I spoke on the phone
through our jobs, hers with Terry Gross and mine with
Gulf Coast Orthopaedics. She would tell me of her latest adventures and had a laugh that you can not forget.
I had the privilege of meeting Barbara a few years ago and will never forget her.

Dear Ashley and Alicia,
My heart aches for your loss, your Mom brought such life and laughter to all who knew her. I don't know if you rememer, but she and I were study partners going through paralegal classes together and I admired her so. And you girls, the love and joy of her life. Celebrate life as she did girls, she'll always be there with you!

I knew Barbara thru high school and was so taken back when I recieved the phone call that she had passed away. I remember her jokes and laughter... I am glad that I got to see her last year at our 35th class reunion.. and for that one night we were all 17 or 18 again. I know you are up there in heaven laughing and telling jokes... you will always remain in our hearts as long as we live... and we will see you on the other side one day my friend.......

It is just so hard to understand why someone larger than life has to leave this one so soon. Our hearts truly ache for Barbara's family. We feel so blessed to have shared in many Burnett family good times and there just is no one in this world who is more fun to be with than Barbara. Heaven will never be the same. Shake em up, Barbara.
