Born on December 30, 1938, Barbara was a resident of Pensacola, Florida. She was a devoted family member who loved spending time with her family and was very family-oriented. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she loved them dearly.
Barbara had a passion for cooking, doing puzzles, and enjoyed reading. Her presence was truly special, as she lit up every room she came into.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Janice M. Brown; her grandchildren, Yolanda Juanita Brown and Yashana Jean Brown; her sisters, Rene'e Lucille Ellis and LeWaun Michele Ellis-Franks-Johnson; and a brother, Walter Hurt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Levester Brown and late husband, Isaac Anderson; her parents, Walter James Brown and Beatrice Hestine Ophela Henley-Ellis; sister, Senora Beatrice Ellis; and brothers, William Edward Washington, Emmanuel Charles Ellis and Desi Arnaz Ellis.
