Having recently learned of the passing of my dear friend, BJ, I can't help but remember how she lived life to the fullest, worked hard in her career, and was a devoted wife to her husband, Bob, as they struggled through his fatal cancer shortly after their marriage to one another. We all really enjoyed some of the best years of our lives before that and for that I am thankful! God Rest In Peace, Barbara Jo Halstead. You may be gone but you aren't forgotten! I recently also wrote another message for BJ's late Mother-In-Law, Penelope (Penny) Halstead, of Stuart, Florida. 

B.J. and I were very close when she lived in West Palm Beach. People usd to think we were sisters. So sad to find out she has passed. She was so sweet and giving. We lived together for a short time but made many memories throughout our friendship. We lost touch once she moved back home to Pensacola. Miss her laugh and smile! One Thanksgiving she came with me to Inverness and we laughed, and laughed.  She was also a very good cook! My prayers are with her family on this anniversary of her passing.
