Stopped by today to see my favorite "Girl" at her house and was told she had passed. Heart broken! What a wonderful person!!! So full of life and adventure. Boundless energy!!! Met her on a bus going to a Nascar race in Atlanta. Six hours there, umpteen hours waiting out the rain only to return to Pensacola and try again five hours later and sure enough Barbara and her sister where there. Oh I can hear her laugh. Mind like a steel trap. Beautiful person inside and out. A total class act. A wonderful role model and throwback to the way things use to be. When a person's word was their bond. Love her!

My sympathy is with family and friends of. Barbara Ann. She was a joy to know and she will be missed. She spoke often of her friends and family.

I am going to miss you and your cards and letters. I love you Barbara Ann and will miss writing to you about what happening  with my family in Boston. I  keep thinking of you and Chuck when he was stationed in Rhode Island. and your many visits to Mom and Dad house in Somerville, it seems like yesterday although it was sixty years ago. Barbara was more than a friend to me. She was the big sister I never had.  Always supporting and a real joy to be with.  I was blessed to have her friendship and will miss her more than words can express. May God bless your family during this sad time.

Barbara was a dear friend of whom I met at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in 1994.  Always enjoyed seeing her and dancing together at the annual Mardi Gras balls.  She will be greatly missed.

Barbara was a long time faithful volunteer at the Council on Aging of West Florida. She was always a delight to be around and had a great sense of humor. She gave a lot of herself to others and we will miss her at the Council on Aging. My sincerest condolences to her family and all her friends.
