She joins her husband of 55 years, Ludovico; and leaves behind her daughter Bernardita Druhan (Barry), her son Ludovic Marcel (Cherie); and her 5 grandchildren, Connor and Elise Druhan, and Dominic, Braeden, and Cameron Lasquety.
Belen was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Marcellino and Apolonia Lim. She was a resident of Pensacola from 1978 to 2018, and most recently lived in Naperville, Illinois.
In her early years, Dr. Lasquety grew up with her 10 siblings in Manila. She graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila. In 1966 she and her husband emigrated to the United States, living first in New York where she completed her medical training at the University of the State of New York in 1968. After moving to Pensacola in 1978 she worked for many years as the Medical Director of the West Florida Community Care Center.
Services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Pensacola. Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, from 10AM to 11AM at the church, with the funeral mass immediately following at 11AM. A burial service will follow at Bayview Memorial Park on Scenic Highway.
