Mrs. Flowers was born October 31, 1926 in Lottie, Alabama to Selma Hall and Lilla Smith Hall. She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Valentine Flowers.
Survivors include her son, Steven Flowers and wife, Lisa; daughter, Carol Manning and husband Chris; grandchildren, Austen Manning (Sarah), Ashley Flowers, Ryan Manning, Courtney Flowers and Jillian Flowers; great grandchildren, Brielle Manning; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 08, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 2001 N. Palafox Street, Pensacola, FL 32501.
