Bertha was born in Lima, Peru to Alberto Figueroa and Julia Romero. She completed high school and attended Colegio de Bellas Artes in Lima.
She had a unique gentleness and kindness. She loved all animals and watching animal shows. She also loved to paint and did it beautifully.
She is survived by her siblings, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Beto.
A celebration of her life will be held at her home with her family at a later date.
We would like to thank the nurses at Sacred Heart’s ICU and PCU who were so compassionate and kind, going beyond what was required of their profession. We would also like to thank the nurses at Hospice for making her transition comfortable and peaceful.
