Betty F Scroggins

On November 03, 2026, Betty Faye Scroggins-Thronson heard her Lord say, "Come away my beloved" and peacefully went to be with her Lord Jesus. She is preceded in death by her Father Jimmie Merrill Henderson and Mother Edith Catherine Peramore as well as her brother "Sambo". Betty was a loving Mother to two children, Ronald Scroggins (deceased) and beloved daughter Cynthia Scroggins. She is survived by two grandchildren; Dereck and Tera Scroggins and one great-grandchild. Betty leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years; Freddie E. Thronson Jr.

Betty was a faithful member of Upward Church Pensacola and was loved by all she met; she will be missed by many.

Betty was born March 7, 1941, in Eufaula, Alabama, but resided in Pensacola 50 years. She retired from Escambia County Utilities Authority after 17 years. She served as President of Womans Aglow Pensacola Chapter in the early 1980s.

She will be remembered for her joyous personality, and anointed hugs that ministered to so many. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Freddie.
