Her life of service was defined by devotion to God and His children. As the firstborn of 5 siblings that she was tasked to raise, she developed a fierce devotion to those that she loved and a commitment to provide for everyone whenever she detected a need. Her compassion defined her life and I’m confident that Heavenly Father is well pleased with her enduring efforts to serve in the Lords way. Most who met her felt endeared & indebted to her for her tireless kindness. No ones needs were a burden. Only an opportunity to do what Christ would do. That she can spend this Christmas with Christ is a lovely reward. As she joins our sweet angel of a granddaughter that recently passed after just 19 years of the school of earth, they can enjoy their time together with other beloved loved ones that preceded them. May she rest in joy from her labors faithfully performed on earth and be contented beyond what earth could offer.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, William Eugene and Margaret Frances (McCuan) Carter; brother, Gary Lamar Carter; and granddaughter, Kylee Alissa Googe.
