Aunt Bibi holds a very Special place in my heart. She was always Smiling and no matter what she saw the Good in me and everyone that knew her. She knew exactly what to say and do to make sure you knew she Loved You and make you feel Special. A lot of times she would guide me closer to the Lord when I would loose focus. That is so Special. She is truly loved and missed. She was an Angel on Earth and now in Heaven. I will see you again some day. I can't wait to kiss and hug you again.

We met in such an odd way Bibi dialing the wrong phone number {when John was a baby}, I was trying to figure out how to fry chicken, Bibi talked me through cooking it then realized I didn't know who I was talking too !! Over all the years that passed I felt deep in my heart there was a reason for that wrong number Bibi dialed.

We did so many things over the years, Jazzercise, Two Steppin, sailing, water ski, sun bathing at the beach, Blue Angels, Azalia Trail, camping many times, long walks, events with the kids, and many holidays together at the Barberi home (old house and new house) Remember the year the Fire Truck blows the horn with Santa perched on top stopped right in front of the house and Santa had a present for everyone at the Barberi home.  Lets don't forget Waffle House either.  So many things so many memories.

Over the years via phone when I moved from State to State we still stayed in contact, when I was in Pensacola my car always found its way to Bibi.

I remember one Halloween I dressed up as a Q TIP, baby blue tights, letters on the chest Q TIP, hair under white quilt batting in a tip then yellow spray paint on the tip of the white batting for wax, I had no idea what Bibi was going to dress up as, I walk in the house, Bibi yells from the kitchen, as I came around the corner she scared the heck out of me all dressed up as a witch, that I fell backwards and broke a kitchen chair landing on the floor !!  Then Bibi said "Want to ride my broom" !! 
                                      I remember the time when we both got locked in the bathroom in the old house when the door knob fell off  we had to wait till Jack got home to free us, Jack was laughing so hard and would not get us out, then Bibi said "That's ok honey we have a toilet, and running water".

I have so many wonderful memories, I miss my dear friends phone calls, her beautiful voice, I miss her telling me "I Love You", her beautiful smile, laughter, humor, her wit, I miss us holding hands, all the hugs, and kisses, im going to also miss Bibi telling me about what each of her children and grand children were doing.

Bibi was a fun loving charming person, until we see each other again.

Dearest Beebs, I am going to miss our conversations, laughing, hugs waking you up in the middle of the day! Just going to miss you! 
Beebs and I worked together for close to 20 years. She was so loving and passionate with her job. She was one of the few nurses that said "I love you at the end of our phone calls.. She would just come into my office,sit down and say, " let's talk about our grandchildren" and we would. Brag, brag, and brag some more.  My prayers are with the family. Love to you Jack.   Love you too Beebs..  Until we brag together again...

Bibi and I met in the 1970's when our husbands Jack and Fred worked at Westinghouse. Many years together raising our kids and making memories. Bibi was so happy, positive and loving life. We were young and living for the moment . Bibi had a deep faith and was the Godmother to Jennifer and Melissa. Her services was so special and the love of her children was a sight to behold. She made her mark and her legacy continues through her family . She will be missed by many.

My mom was an amazing woman. I miss her with all my heart and won't ever forget the lessons she's taught me. She loved me so incredibly much and showed it every day of my life. It always seemed like she knew exactly what to tell me to get me through the hard times in my life. She filled me with confidence and always talked me up in a way that I felt I could do anything. I will never forget you moma, and love you with all my heart!!

Bibi, God introduced you into my life for a purpose. I really believe that looking back over the years of your help, advice, and encouragement to help me live and enjoy life more fully. You are the older sister from another mother. I pray that I was able to give back to you as much as you have given to me. I'll always cherish your zeal for life,your admiration of all around you,your love for your family, your drive and ambition, your faith in God,and your laughter and jokes. Many wonderful memories I'll cherish forever. My heart is heavy but I am so blessed to have had you in my family's life and you as my best friend. You will be missed. Until we meet again, my friend.

Mom, this is the version of "An Irish Lullaby" that you sang to all of your children.  I can't express how much I miss you but this song seems to speak to my soul. It reminds me that it is the simple things that I will miss.  The sound of your voice, the tender caress and tickle of your fingers, and your hugs and kisses.

 We're all going to miss you moma. We will all remember your smile, your tearful laughter, your inappropriate jokes and your good humor. I remember especially living a 1000 miles away but it seemed as if you were holding my face in your hands trying to get a kiss. I could always feel your hugs over the phone. I could always feel your love. I still do. Wait for us moma. We'll see you soon.

It's hard to believe that a month has gone by and you aren't here with us. I have had my days when I cry and ask why and in disbelief and days where I am thankful because I know you are in a better place. Looking back at all my time I had with you I cherish those moments and will miss that I can't create more with you. When I think of you I think of the many times I would come over to your house and play basketball and spend my days with you and grandpa.  I think of all the times the family would get together for Christmas at your house and you would have the big Christmas lights on your house and tree. I think about the times going over to your house and playing with the toys in the attack. I think about the time you, Victoria, and I walked to your doctor's office and then to waffle house. (Don't quote me exactly where we went but I do remember that walk lol)  I think about the times we would ride in your van and ask you to tell us stories of your childhood. I think of the times you would sing to us. My favorite tune and one that I sing a lot is

I think of your sweet voice singing little songs to me and your soft hands tickling my skin. I think of the times we would window shop and visit consignment stores. I think of the time you picked me up from my Brentwood house to take me to a consignment store downtown and let me drive so I could practice. I remember when I turned onto East Spencer Field and I ran off the road but corrected it and you told me I did a good job and didn't even get mad that I swerved off the road. I think of all your sweet calls and voice mails you would leave me. I remember the day you told me what you were diagnosed with. Sitting in your driveway after picking up your car from the shop you looked at me and told me how much you love me. The words that followed were heartbreaking. I cried not able to say a word and you held me and told me it was going to be okay. You were so comforting and loving and this is the number one thing that comes to mind when I think of you. You were so loving, caring, and kind.

I am so sorry for the loss of a woman so loved and who gave love so freely.  While it took me  awhile to warm up to her ways of doing things, I certainly began to recognize her special ways and to admire her as a deeply caring and special lady.  I have so many memories that I will forever cherish spending time with her, especially on our trips together.  Most of all, I will be forever grateful for loving my daughters, her granddaughters, the way she did.  She always wanted to spend time with them and know what was going on with them.  I remember a time when they were teenagers she wanted me to talk to them about just stopping by to see here every now and then.  She just wanted to give them love.  I saw all the love she gave to her children, their friends, family and especially all the grandchildren she so dearly loved.  Even after our circumstances changed and I didn't see her as often, she always made an effort to reach out to me to say hello and check on me.  We had some great moments when I'd run into her or she would just message me on facebook.  I was at my mothers across the street from her house a few months after her second surgery and she came over to give me a hug and just have a chat.  We just stood there in the driveway chatting and I offered here a ride back home across the street but she insisted on walking.  I'm forever grateful for what she taught me and for what she has given the world-a legacy of love- and how her love will endure in those left behind.  Rest in Peace sweet lady.  Greg Jackson

Bibi was the kind and gentle friend who listened.  Whether she was listening because someone needed advice or listening for advice she needed, she was there.  A true friend who both gave good advice and followed advice.  
Her smile and caring heart will be missed.

Hey Grandma,

I miss you every day. I miss that you wanted to be with me as much as possible when I lived there. I miss you wanting me to sit in your lap. Everyone talked about how you were a woman of love and they were exactly right. That was one thing you ALWAYS gave and wanted back. I really miss going on dates with you. That time we went to Olive Garden, boy what a night. We had some great food and you convinced me I needed to stop drinking through a straw because I always burped so much when I was pregnant. I still don't drink through a straw. Then my tire blew out in the parking lot because of that pot hole and I just cried so hard...and you held me and sang to me. You knew how to comfort me. Being in your arms was always so wonderful. In November, when I last got to see you, I loved being able to cuddle you. I miss all the days we shared and the love you showed Gracen. Thank you for always being here for me, even when I would push you away. Thank you for always being understanding. Thank you for always showing Sean such love. You were a remarkable soul and you will affect everyone you have ever known for the rest of their lives. Everything reminds me of you. You are always with me. I love you Grandma.

Grandma, I was forever blessed for 27 years with you in my life. I will never forget your loving touch and sweet, soft caring voice. All the times we did fun things together, I will always cherish. 

I will always remember to not let my bra staps show, you always hated that. 

I will miss getting to lay across your lap to be tickled, whether being a child or an adult. I will pass this on to my children, one day. 

I will miss you asking me to help with your makeup and hair. 

I will miss doing scrap booking with you. I am not very crafty but you were, and I am thankful for that. You taught me to cross stitch a bib for my cousin when he was born, years ago. That was very special to me, as well as helping me with the scrap book of the dogs for my parents a couple years back and my graduation cap for college. 

A little over a year ago, mom and Richard let me move in with them. A couple days later, I remember surprising you and Grandpa at the airport, you guys did not know I moved here (I kept that from you so I could later surprise you). What a fabulous week that was to have you both here to visit. Thank you for sitting in my room and letting me share some personal information with you on why I moved here and away from Oklahoma. I really loved our trip to Canada as well. 

So many memories I will forever hold on to and always cherish. Grandma, I miss you so much but now I know you are no longer suffering.

The many times we shared our wine together; laughing and giggling, while our kids played with one another. The fireworks on 4th of July on Jack and Bibi's back porch, 
Bibi and I never worried much about our kids as they were always either at her house or mine throwing up sheets to make tents and building Legos into intricate designs that always seem to amaze us. 
. We shared a common bound of loving our kids a little more than the average people. 

Her smile is forever burned into my mind because she was always smiling. One time I walked into her kitchen and saw that some food had been cooked, I think it was pork chops and some kind of vegetable, cornbread
. I asked where did that come from, she said with amazement 
" I cooked it, I know how to cook I just don't cook "

I remember giving her a perm for Telka's wedding and how she wanted to look really good for it, and how she loved when I showed her make up tricks and how to wear her hair. I guess it made her feel special because she never got prissy with her looks. She had a natural beauty about her and became even more so with the slightest bit of make up. 

I remember once she said she wanted a piano, so I just happen to know someone selling one at a very good  price. She would tinker with small songs and it made me happy to see her so fulfilled in such a small pleasure. But that was who she was, it is a lesson I learned from her long ago, to be happy no matter where or what your doing. Just be happy.
 When she met my husband before we married after my long single life she said " he's good looking! " she LOVED good looking men  and ask me if I was happy.? I said yes 
and she said that's all that matters. 
I gave her advice on what I knew and she gave me advice  on what she knew and it was a perfect friendship.

I feel so honored, blessed and happy that I had the pleasure of knowing Bibi for so many years... When Jack would go out of town Bibi & I did sleep-overs, like kids!  We laughed, talked, played games on the computers;  She was a dear friend.  I am greatful in knowing she is with my Travis, and Chasity...  While I am deeply saddened for her death, I am glad I will see her again, with my children and my family as well...  I will remember her as my friend, a great R.N. and a wonderful mother to you kids and a faithful & loving servant to God and her husband Jack.  I hope that you kids will stay in touch, and know she is now your guardian angel.  God Bless each and everyone of you...  Till we meet again Bibi...  I love you my friend...  <3

I met Bibi in nursing school. We became instant friends. She was sweet, loving & had that radiant smile. We rode to college together, studied together & had fun. I will always treasure our friendship. Her family is in my prayers & I extend my sympathy to all of you. May God bless & comfort you all in your great loss.

Hey all of you.  We knew your mom so well and it was always a joy to see her. We had been following your updates on her condition for some time.  Your mom was always happy and always wanted to help people feel better when they were sick.  We were so sorry we were not able to get to be with you.  I have been sick for some time and ended up in the hospital myself last week.  You all were the light of her life and she tried to share her faith with you to make you better people.  Now you have a new job, taking care of your dad who is looking for her.  It has always been a great pleasure knowing all of you and we pray that the Lord wraps his arms around each of you and gives you peace.  Love Claudia and Jack Barrett.

I had known Bibiana for many years. She was a spark of light,a quick, sincere smile and her soul in her eyes. We didn't see each other often but when we did we just picked up where we left off! There is a new angel in Heaven!

Beebs, I know your safe in God's hands now, but I miss you terribly. We had a lot of good long talks and you could always lighten my spirits.. take care of baby Jake. Love and miss you. I have known and worked with BiBi for many years. She came into my life at a bad time and helped me get through it. She was a great study buddy during A & P 2 with Tan. I think I met Bibi around 1964. What a great spirit. She simply radiated, beaming out a bright, room-filling energy. Bibi was spontaneous, sincere, and friendly to everyone without exception. I can't remember her ever saying a cross word to anyone. Joy characterized her. So did endless and selfless love. This world will miss Bibi.
