Bille was born May 23, 1938 in Huxford, Alabama to Denzon Jake Sims and Annie Dora Smith Sims. He retired from the City of Pensacola, where he was a building inspector. Billie was a member of Olive Baptist Church.
Billie was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Sims.
He is survived by his son, Dana Alan Sims; brother, Dohn Sims and wife Beth; mother-in-law Garnet Blalock.
Services were held Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Bayview Memorial Park.
