Billy James Mosley, 76, of Lillian, AL

passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Jan 22, 2021.

He was born on September 22, 1944 to James Orbie and Luvert (Matchett) Mosley of Frisco City, AL.

He graduated from Excel High School in 1963 then proudly served his country in Vietnam until 1968. After returning home, he worked for Jitney Jungle as a meat cutter and market manager for 29 years. Billy also served as an active member of the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary for 25 years.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents.

Billy will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives he touched through his compassion and caring for others. His sons, grandchildren and entire family will be forever grateful and humbled by his selfless generosity and how he always put everyone's needs before his own. He always put us first.
