We've know and worked with Brenda for decades. Like her parents, Ted & Alice,  she was a professional, with a pleasant personality and work ethic which tried to find the honest and fair resolution for sometimes complex circumstances.  She is deeply missed, and we hope and pray her family will find peace and strength in the future.

I want to join family and friends in saying farewell and sharing fond memories of Brenda, a good friend for many years.  



I've known Brenda since 1999. She hired me as a rental agent at Key Concepts, then 6 months later became my Broker when I got my real estate license, became a Realtor, and stayed my Broker for 7 years. She was always so kind and nice to work for, and a good mentor. She had a mild personality, I've never seen her upset, always very cool and calm no matter what, yet solving issues all the time in making business decisions. She always went straight to her office and worked constant until late in the day, everyday, yet never too busy to help with any questions or conversations. She was so smart and willing to lend advice about how to be better in real estate. She was a sure inspiration. She told me stories of when she started out in real estate on Perdido, as one of the first Brokers in the early 80's keeping involved in the community, networking with developer/builders and helping in the growth and success on Perdido Key. She owned and operated a restaurant in Colours that was so fun, in the late 90's. She and Ed attended my wedding on the beach years ago and gave me her condo penthouse for the weekend  for my honeymoon, she was always so thoughtful. I regret not having visited with her in a while, but always thought of her as a friend after working for her. She had a loving and close family and still does. She has been loved much and will be missed by many.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Cathi Oursler

Praying for all the family and friends. Brenda and her team were so welcoming to us when we first were stationed here in Pensacola and shared their love for Perdido Key.  We are forever grateful. 

Brenda was the first person I met on Perdido Key In 1996.  She helped us buy our home in Parasol.  I became a realtor that next year and she was so helpful to me and to others that worked with her.  She loved Perdido Key and paved the way for so many of us.  She pre-sold many of the condo complexes in the mid 80’s and 90’s.  She was not afraid of hard work or being challenged.  She will be so very missed by her family, co-workers, and the real estate community.   Thankful for all she did for our area.   She is shining bright and we are better because of her.  

I bought my house in Parasol place when there was hardly anything on the Key and the Beumer trailer was practically  the only thing around.  Several members of may family, including myself, worked for Brenda.  She was a kind person.  I have always had much love for her.  Perdido Key, along with myself and so many others will miss her and those early days when we had so much fun together at Colours and the Oyster Bar.  We will miss you greatly, Brenda.
