

After a lengthy illness, Brenda Tanguay, 58 of Gonzalez, FL passed away March 3, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Pensacola, FL., February 5, 1957 to Clayton and Marilyn Foster. She attended local schools and graduated from PJC adult high school. She won a two-year scholarship to PJC and later went to UWF. She worked for Pensacola Library, was a manager for Waldenbooks and was an assistant bookeeper for Smokey's BBQ which she truly loved very much. Brenda enjoyed reading, watching Florida Gators, NASCAR racing, ice skating and for a short while, scuba diving. She me the love of her life, Riccie Tanguay, through friends and were married three years later on May 28, 1980. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton, brothers, Monte and John Foster. Brenda is survived by her husband, Ricci; mother, Marilyn Parke; brothers, Terry and Scott(Cindy) Foster; nieces, Chelsea Sheppard and Deeanna Foster; nephews, Joshua, Jeremy and Jonathan Foster and Joe Goodale; sister-in-laws, Cindy Foster (Monte) and Tammy Foster (John); Brenda was truly loved by all she met. She made all strangers feel like family and could converse with anyone about most any subject. She was generous to a fault and wished she could save everyone she met from their problems. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, Celebration of her life will be at 3:00 PM.
