He will be lovingly remembered by his Wife of 21 years, Anna; step-children, Sarah Gibson, Rebekah Gibson, and Gracie Gibson; his sisters, Michelle Dandelakis Riley and her wife Rachel, Cheryl McCormick and her husband Britt, and Melissa Giese; his brothers, Joshua Dandelakis and his wife Karen, Jamie Greene and his wife Suyapa, and Michael Greene and his wife Susan; his nieces, Alexis Greene, Ariel Greene, and Brionna Dandelakis; his nephews, Joshua McCormick, James Greene, and Ashton Duerr; his step-parents, Molly Dandelakis and Bill Giese, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Morris Earl Dandelakis, his mother, Terry Giese, and his sister, Rowdy Ann Dandelakis.
He was a veteran of the United States Army where he was proudly honorably discharged. He was honored to serve his country through his years in the Army.
He was a loyal friend always ready to jump in his truck to help anyone out at any time. He had great compassion and empathy for others. His idea of relaxing was enjoying a great book, and sitting in his chair at the beach. His favorite season of the year was Fall. He loved building a fire in his fire pit and sitting outside when the cooler Fall weather would begin here in Pensacola. He would sit by the fire for hours, and listen to music wearing his shorts, flip flops, and no shirt with a cooler of “cold ones” close at hand.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced on his Facebook page. All family and friends are invited to help us celebrate Brian’s life.
The family wishes to extend a thank you to the ICU staff and Palliative Care team at Baptist Hospital.
