March 19, 2019

I remember well when our house burned down in Franklin Park, in 1988. Brian was there as a fighter even way back then. He was maybe 18, if that. Not only do firefighters risk their lives everyday (and ours were volunteers), but many of them, including Brian stopped by afterward to see what they could do for us. It was in his blood even then. I don't know why God chooses some to leave us so early. I have no answers. My heart goes out to all his family back home and his wife and son I never met. Go with God Brian.
