

Calvin was born in Pensacola, Florida to his father ,Johnny Copp and mother, Faith Copp. He spent his childhood in the Myrtle Grove area enjoying family adventures especially liking their picnics and cookouts. He attended Escambia High School and then spent his career working in all aspects of the hospitality industry. Calvin will be remembered for his care and compassion for his family and friends. He often put their concerns ahead of his very own. He also was an animal lover and had the opportunity to spoil several fur babies during his life. The passing of each took a bit of his big heart with them. Other interests included gardening and a love for cooking.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debbie Patton.
Survivors include his brother, Terry Copp (Louise), Pensacola; and sister, Becky Lee (Tommy), Jacksonville; and his partner of over 30 years, Mike Miller. He also enjoyed times with four nephews, several grand nieces and nephews and special friends .
Arrangements are being handled by Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel and for Pensacola area family and friends, a visitation celebrating Calvin's life will be hosted by family on Saturday January 13th at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel between 2:00pm and 3:30pm. A small gravesite service will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider support of your favorite charity.
