

Carol is survived by her loving husband Quint with whom she was married to for 65 years.
She is survived by her children Linda, Lisa (Bruce), and Stephen (Renee); grandchildren Jamie, Waynea, Bryson, Alicia, Nathan, Joshua (Hannah), Justin, (Claire), Josiah; greatgrandchildren Jeremiah, Elijah, Micah, Mikala, Juniper and Mordecai. She is also survived by her brother Mike (Ellie) Cole.
Carol was also an artist of exceptional skill and enthusiasm. Starting with drawing paper dolls as a child she went on to study Fine Arts @ the University of Texas with further academics in oil painting at Washington State University, drawing and art education at the University of Nebraska, and she took private lessons with acclaimed artist, Yvonne Eymann. Her work adorns many homes, especially in the metro Omaha area, and is displayed in numerous galleries, art shows, and private displays. Carol is a former president of Omaha Artists Incorporated.
She met her husband Quint who was an officer in the Air Force, and she loved being an Air Force wife, and traveling to all the interesting places. Their final AF assignment was to Offutt AFB, Bellevue NE where they resided in Papillion for 50 years. In the '70s, both Carol & Quint had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. They committed their lives to the Lord and served him faithfully, through church, Women's Aglow, participating in Omaha Life Chain Vital Signs & yearly Pro-Life Walks in Lincoln.
She was a loving godly example as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family could always count on her for prayer support and counsel. Carol loved a full social calendar with impeccable hosting and staying busy with Art Club, a Monthly Book club for over 30years. She loved to travel, visiting family and friends. Their diverse adventurous travels included Puerto Rico, Turkey, England, Italy, Colombia, Alaska, Family reunions to Cape Cod, and mission trips.
Her life was, indeed, one well-lived. to the glory of Christ. Though we grieve now and miss her we look forward to when we see her in heaven.
A visitation for Carol will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, followed by a memorial service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
