

CATHERINE WILLIAMS was born on October 2, 1933 in Ocala, Florida. She transitioned to be with the Lord on July 9, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.
She spent most of her life in Pensacola, Florida where she worked, helped raise a family, and volunteered her time to encourage young minds in the Escambia County public school system. Deaconess Glen was an active longtime member of St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida until she moved to Fort Worth, Texas for health concerns. In addition to serving as Deaconess at St. Peters, she also sang in the Senior Choir, served on the Senior Usher Board, as well as Intermediate Class Sunday School Teacher.
Deaconess Glen was preceded in death by her husband, the late Deacon Leonard “Mack” Glen. She leaves to cherish her memory: Rosella Allen, a beloved friend and encourager in the faith; son, Willie Charles Gorden of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Nellie Margaret Gorden and Patricia (Danny) Ray both of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, HM3 Tyrone Ray (USN) of 29 Palms, California, Jacobi Ray of Beaverton, Oregon and Michele Ray of South Korea; great-grandchildren, Acacia, Kenneth, and Emily Ray; great-great grandchild, Kalena Cruz; god-son, Johnny Maxwell.
Catherine will be laid to rest in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
