Cathryn L Deal

Cathy was a fiercely loyal and loving daughter, sister, spouse, friend, neighbor and member of the community she so loved. Her talent for singing, playing the guitar and photography and her love of nature and the coast came together to provide beauty and joy to friends and strangers alike. She was a member and contributor to Blue Morning Gallery, Perdido Artist Gallery and Artworks Local Arts and provided local photographs to the Mullet Wrapper.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Jack D. Deal and is survived by her loving family: mother, Carolyn Deal; wife, Kimberly Grab; brothers, J. Don Deal (Anjelica), Paul Deal (Yalile), Stephen Deal; nephews, Mark Deal and Bradley Deal; cousins, and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Smoky Mountains Senior Rescue ([email protected]) or any animal rescue of your choice.

Friends and family will gather from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway followed by a Celebration of Cathy's life at 2:00 p.m.
