Cavell Capps Reynolds, age 96 of Pensacola, died November 9, 2018. She was born May 19, 1922, in Enterprise, Alabama to Charlie McDuffie Capps and Clyde Myrtle Chandler Capps. Cavell is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William G. Reynolds, Jr.; father, Charlie McDuffie Capps; mother, Clyde Myrtle Chandler Capps, her son; William “Bill” Reynolds, III, her sister; Joyce Brock. Survivors include her daughter, Janice Cook (Ray); Cullman, AL; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Reynolds; Cantonment, FL; her granddaughter Leigh Hall (Bruce); Crane Hill, AL; her grandson, Dr. Scott Reynolds (Lori); Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandson, Dr. Paul Reynolds (Michelle); Tallahassee, FL; her granddaughter, Sheri Davenport (Patrick); Brewton AL; great grandchildren, Cody Hall; Dylan Hall; Crane Hill; Ariel Reynolds; Dean Reynolds; Tuscaloosa, AL; Taylor Reynolds; Matthew Reynolds; Tallahassee, FL; Tucker Davenport; Kaylie Davenport; Brewton, AL; four great great grandchildren; sister, Oliva Thomas (Joe); Montgomery, AL. Cavell was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Spanish Trail. She enjoyed being a part of the Women’s Missionary Union, East Hill Roundtable, the Women’s and Music Clubs of Crestview, Florida. She also served as the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association’s WMU Director. A visitation will be Monday, November 12, 2018 from 12-1 p.m. located at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with a funeral services at 1 p.m. An interment will immediately follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
