1930-2014
Captain Cedric E. (Dick) Davis, 83, a life-long tugboat captain, passed away August 21, 2014. He was born September 5, 1930 to the late William and Alma Davis.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph W. Davis.
Survivors include his dear wife of 61 years, Jean Davis; his daughters, Gloria (Jerry) Davis, Linda (Gene) Ham, Mary Singleton, Deborah Davis and Jennifer (Thomas) Stefani; his son, Michael (Tammy) Davis; his daughter-in-law, Judi Davis; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11 AM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will follow in Bayview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the service hour. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bayviewfisher-pouchapel.com.
