I cannot imagine a world without Celia. I loved her from the moment we met 6 short years ago. She was much more than a friend. She was a mother figure, a confidant, a guiding light and a huge influence in my life. She watched over me and my granddaughter like we were her own. She lifted me up when I was down and strengthened my relationship with God. The stories she would tell me of her life had me mesmerized and in awe that this tiny little woman had the fortitude to overcome all the obstacles put before her and come out better and stronger than ever. She gave me hope that better days would come as long as the journey included  faith, Faith in myself and more importantly Faith in God. I am forever changed for the better because of her love. 

Rest in peace sweet lady. She was spit and fire, with a heart of gold. May the angels take her and the Lord welcome her. Loved her very much. 

Had Mr. and Mrs. Mills not intervined, my wife, my son, and myself would have been homeless. I am truly grateful to have known her for the time that I got.
