

He proudly served 20 years in the US Army and retired as a First Sergeant. He served in Korea, Vietnam, and Germany along with multiple stateside bases, including West Point and Washington, DC. He was awarded many accolades during his tenure, and was part of the Presidential Flight Detachment under President Gerald Ford.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bettie Parker, and Yvonne Stanley (2nd wife).
Surviving family includes: Daughters - Natalie Cummings, Davida Feely (Ted), and Susan Mathis (step daughter). Brothers – Byron Parker, Richard Parker, and Lewis Wayne Parker Sisters – Carmen White, and Janie Ruth Delfavero Grandchildren – Duane, Caleb, Kristopher, Bobby, Courtney, and Kristi, and eleven Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service for Charles will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
