March 6, 1942 – August 16, 2026
Charles “Chuck” Gerald Stubbs, 84, of Navarre, Florida, passed peacefully in his sleep on August 16, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at his home.
Chuck proudly served in the United States Air Force before being medically retired after which he continued his service to his country through tours with the USO. He went on to earn his Master’s

incredible stories from all corners of the world. He later made his way to Hawaii where he built a career in civil service with the U.S. Postal Service before retiring to Florida’s Emerald Coast and
settling into his Navarre home full of beautiful flowers that he cherished.
Chuck had a deep love of music that touched every part of his life. An accomplished guitarist and singer, he took great joy in sharing his passion for music with everyone he met. Among his favorite
pastimes was driving his Tahoe to Waffle House where he was a beloved weekly fixture, well known and cherished by the staff. Chuck was also a man of great generosity, supporting numerous
veteran-based and medical charities throughout his life.
Chuck is survived by his half sisters, Voncille Kirkland and Una Kirkland, and his devoted caregivers and cherished friends, Jason and Brittany Farrell.
