Chuck was born to the late Charles Yetter and Wilma Pillsbury, who preceded him in death. He retired from Barber Marina in Elberta, Alabama, where he spent many years working before enjoying his retirement.
Chuck loved the freedom and adventure that life had to offer. He especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, and spending time out on his boat. When he was on his motorcycle, his CB handle was “Sunchaser”, a name that fit him perfectly. That is exactly what he did-he chased the sun on each and every ride, enjoying the open road, the freedom of the motorcycle, and wherever the next adventure might take him.
His favorite saying was “Enjoy life”, and he truly tried to do just that. He believed in making the most of each day, enjoying new adventures, and creating memories with people he loved.
Chuck is survived by his daughters, Shannon Joseph (Shane) and Susan Walters (John); his sisters, Rosemary Severino (Don) and Janice Carulli (Leonard); his grandchildren, Zane, Morgan, and Jadyn; his great-grandson, Jaxon; and his beloved niece, and nephews, and many cousins.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the stories, adventures, and cherished moments he shared with those closest to him.
Visitation will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503, on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel at 11:00 am.
