Charlotte Radford Horne, 88, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015. She was born July 8, 1927 to Harry and Frances Radford, Piney View, West Virginia. She graduated from Raleigh General Hospital Nurses Training (WAC nurses training program) in Beckley, WV in 1948; She subsequently moved to Pensacola and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse, first at Maternity Hospital and later at Medical Center Clinic. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Pensacola. Mrs. Horne is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edward Horne. She is survived by brothers Okey Radford and wife Phyllis of Bristol, VA, and Ray Radford and wife Sonya of Pipestem, WV; sons Edward of Milton, FL, Stanley and wife Maureen of Clarksburg, MD; daughter Michelle Reyes and husband Joe of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren Charlotte Horne, Joseph Reyes, Kelly Reyes and Sara Horne and nephew Don Radford and wife Sheryl and children Shea, Christopher, Sarah and Suzanne.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the funeral home.
