Christine Lee Mullinax

Born on October 19, 1949 in St. Petersburg, Florida, Chris was the first daughter of Helen and Bob Oliver. She grew up with her sister Janice in Winter Haven, Florida, and graduated from Winter Haven High School.

Chris met her future husband Paul in 1967 in Bartow, Florida. Paul was in the Air Force when they married on June 15, 1968. After Paul returned from his tours in Vietnam, they continued to be an Air Force Family. Son Robert and daughter Shannon completed the family as they lived in Louisiana, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kentucky, Germany, and finally settled in Florida in 1987. Chris loved helping others. She donated hundreds of volunteer hours with the Salvation Army.

Chris and Paul loved to travel in their retirement years. They frequently went on cruises to The Caribbean and Costa Rica.

Chris is survived by her loving children Robert (Michelle) and Shannon (Kevin), and her grandchildren Hayley, Cassie, Ty, Jack, Jeffrey, and Luke.

Chris was preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents Helen and Bob, and sister Janice.

Chris will be interned with her loving husband Paul at the Barrancas National Cemetery at Naval Air Station Pensacola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chris’ memory to the Salvation Army, a cause that was incredibly close to her heart.
