Cindy Scarbrough Stewart, 55, of Pensacola, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Cindy was born in Dothan, Alabama and lived in Pensacola for the last thirty-one years. She was employed as a graphic artist with the Sacred Heart Hospital Print Shop for the last seventeen years. Cindy was a very talented artist, giving away most of her creations for charitable causes. She loved to crochet hats for cancer patients at Sacred Heart Hospital, especially the children. She, along with her husband, Kent, also loved to cook gourmet dishes together for all to enjoy.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Neel and Charlie Hudson Scarbrough.
Survivors include her husband, Kent Stewart; daughter, Laurel Stewart of Pensacola; son, Neel Stewart of Ft. Walton Beach; Sister, Susan Scarbrough of Dothan, Alabama; her two Brittany Spaniels, Kody and Molly; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 with a memorial service at 4:00 PM at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola. Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel has been entrusted with the privilege of arrangements.
