We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Clarence Bryan, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. With his son Matthew Bryan by his side, Clarence left us late in the evening on Saturday November 11, 2023.
Born on July 14, 1931, in Pensacola, FL, Clarence lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and a deep love for his family. Clarence was known for always having a smile and being friendly with everyone he met. Behind the smile was a lifetime of wisdom he lovingly shared with anyone who took the time to listen.
Clarence is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Betty Bryan; their son, Matthew Bryan; his brother, Allen(Sonny) Bryan; his cherished grandchildren, Brad-Lee, and Drew Bryan; and his treasured great grandchildren, Ella, Grant, and Kate Bryan.
Clarence served honorably in the United States Navy as a young man and then went on to college at University of Florida where he received a BS degree in Electrical engineering. He was employed at the Naval Air Station where he retired. Following his career, he focused most of his time on his family, namely his grandchildren Brad-Lee and Drew, where he was an ever-present source of love and support in their lives.
His legacy will live on through the lives of those he touched. Clarence's dedication to his family and his service to his country helped shape the morals and values of his children and grandchildren and serve as an example which we all hope to emulate.
A visitation will be held at 12pm followed by the Funeral Service to celebrate Clarence's on Thursday November 16, 2023 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
We will forever hold Clarence in our hearts and memories. May he rest in peace.
