Cortney Alexander Johann Lang, 47, of Kenner, LA, died Friday, June 26, 2015.Cortney was born November 10, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Erich K. Lang and Nicoli Miller Lang. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Orleans. He received his Master's Degree in Health Science and was a private practice counselor. He also received his 50-100 ton Master Marine Captain License and was a captain for Bordelon Marine. Cortney was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity in New Orleans.Cortney is survived by his father, Erich K. Lang of New Orleans; mother, Nicoli J. Lang of New Orleans; brother, Erich Christopher Lang of Denver; nephew, Zachary Christopher Lang of New Orleans; Uncle, Zane Miller (Janet) of Pensacola; Aunt, Sharon Reiser (John) of Pensacola; cousins, Elizabeth Ruf-Lang of Vienna, Austria, Walter Lang of Vienna, Austria, Birgitta Lang of Vienna, Austria, Curt Reiser of Pensacola and Julie Shirdan of Hebron, KY.
