

Cynthia Ann Bloski Booker, 67, of Pensacola, died on October 14, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville, but as part of a Navy family, moved to Pensacola as an infant and no matter where the Navy took the family, Pensacola was always home. She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1967.
Cynthia was employed for many years as a legal secretary and later as a judicial assistant. She retired from the Department of Children & Family Services, and until recently when her health failed, she enjoyed a wonderfully happy retirement.
Cynthia was predeceased by her father, Tom Bloski, USNR, and her mother, Alta Grace Jones Arnold, and by all of her siblings, David B. McIndoo, Thomas Paul Bloski, III, Bibiana Bloski Barberi, Aulaire Bloski Nix, and Rayne L. Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Christopher A. Booker, of San Antonio, Texas, and a grandson, Dalton Booker, a student at Georgia Tech. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, each one being quite special to her, by two very special cousins, Toni Merino of Milton and Allen C. Jones of Pensacola, and many other relatives and devoted friends who have stood by her during her final illness.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 9:00 AM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 10am burial following immediately in Bayview Memorial Park.
